Viewing Prompts
1. To access available prompts, click on the Writing tab. The Prompt Library tab displays a list of available prompts.

- You can filter the prompts by Status, Type, Genre, and Content Area or search by keyword.
2. To Enable or Disable a prompt for student responses, click the arrow at the beginning of the prompt row. Then select Enable or Disable below the prompt description.

3. If Peer Review is enabled, you will see the options you chose (as seen above). If it is disabled then the Peer Review section will state NO to the question of enabled.
- Click the Print icon to print the peer review form for the prompt.
6. To the right of the prompt Title is the Genre/Content Area(s) and Description. Clicking on the arrow displays the full description.

7. Clicking on the Pencil Icon of the prompt brings up the Edit a Prompt page. In addition to the basic prompt information, you'll see the date the prompt was enabled and links to any attached stimulus material.


Customizing a Prompt
1. Sections 2 through 6 allow you to further customize the prompt as desired.

- Select section 2, Assignment, if you wish to assign this prompt to your class or specific students. You can also add a due date here.
- Select section 3, Organizer, if you wish to require a graphic organizer.
- Select section 4, Peer Reviews, if you wish to enable and create the peer review form.
- Select section 5, Options, if you wish to adjust the default settings of the drafting phase.
- Select section 6, Share Prompt, if you wish to share this particular prompt to your other active courses.
2. Click Save Prompt and the custom options you have chosen will be saved with the prompt.
